Reminder: Any time spent researching your topic for your essay can be recorded on your Reading Log. I will check reading logs on Thursday. Book Club should read "The Mountain" 2x and take notes. Book Club will meet on Thursday.
Wednesday - Thursday (2/17-2/18)
Work on essay each night. As a rough guide, you should have your research mostly completed by Wednesday night, thesis statement written by Thursday's class, and plan completed by Thursday night.
Friday (2/19)
Continue working on your paper over the weekend. Follow guidelines and format given in class(Use handout). Use organizational plan (persuasive map) to help craft paragraphs. Due date has been extended to Tuesday 2/23. When you come to school Monday you should have your thesis complete, your organizational chart finished and printed, and two paragraphs complete.(Introduction and support paragraph 1.)
